Har kahaani ek hava hoti hai
The tagline of havabaazi.com pretty much sums up what it is all about. The goal is to bring stories of people from all walks of life and give them a platform so that it can reach a larger audience.
OpenMic is an initiative by havabaazi.com, it is a free event and is open to anyone who wants to express their creative thoughts and gain some appreciation.
If your creative thoughts are the seeds to grow your creative selfs then appreciation is the much-needed soil to grow the seed in.
OpenMic could be the place to grow the seeds into little plants that can become big trees someday.
I got the chance to attend the 3rd season of Open Mic, which was held at Sheroes Cafe, an amazing place which is managed by Acid Attack Victims.
Their entire staff is full of courage and a positivity towards life, they all have stories to tell, perhaps I’ll share a few in future posts.
But today, let’s talk about the OpenMic.
The season 3 of OpenMic happened on Sunday, 24th September at Sheroes Cafe. More than 100 people showed up for the event and around a dozen creative people performed.
There were people who were quite comfortable with the Mic,
Some were people who were performing since the first seasons
and for some people it was the first time in front of a Mic.
I, along with Faiz Siddiqui, our Editor of LucknowTips, attended it for the first time so I guess there were quite a few first-timers in the audience as well.
And since I was there, I wanted to make sure I clicked a few pictures to tell this story of an amazing initiative in Lucknow for the people who might be interested in joining in the upcoming Open Mic events.
Though the event got its fair share of Media Coverage with Red FM being the Radio Partner and some local newspapers, it’s always interesting to read the first-hand account of an event.
I am hopeful that we at Lucknow Tips will be posting about Future events of the OpenMic as well.
