Winters are the best time for visiting the #TajMahal. You can cover it in a day from Lucknow if you plan a #RoadTrip ?.
Distance: It’s 350Kms from anywhere in Lucknow city. It takes approx 4 hours to reach Agra from Lucknow. ? Start at 6 AM. Take Lucknow Agra Expressway. take the help of Google Maps Navigation. Toll Tax is ₹585 One way or ₹ 950 includes Return.
Reach the Taj Mahal parking at Around 10 AM. ?
1.5kms of the walk ?(or ride on battery-operated car arraigned by Agra Development Authority).
Get the Tickets ? : ₹50 for the access till the red bricks. ₹250 for access to the marble area of the taj (the museum). Snacks ?: No eatables allowed inside so make sure you refresh yourself prior to entering the Taj. Water is allowed, also Drinking Water available inside.
Lunch ?: If you enter the Taj by 12 PM, 3 hours is sufficient. Get out and have lunch, preferably outside the Taj Mahal Premises as mostly everything is overrated.
You can go to places like Bikanerwala, KFC, etc. Make sure you finished by 4 PM. ? Start Drive back to Lucknow, you will be back by 8 PM.
Back and forth drive can be tiring so it’s recommended to have two drivers. Although I managed both sides.
