Of all the great things about Lucknow, the 100-year-old Zoo is something you cannot miss to visit if you are in the city.
The Lucknow Zoological Garden is used to be known as Prince of Charles Zoological Garden since the foundation of the zoo was laid by him in 1921. It was later named Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden.
It has different birds and animals of different species, the Wikipedia claims that it has over 911 different types of them. Over 1 million people visit the Lucknow Zoo every year.
The Zoo is closed on Monday and other Public Holidays. And the best day to visit the Zoo is Sunday and Saturday.
